Our Harrisburg area plant, located on Route 230 between Highspire and Steelton, is on the banks of the Susquehanna river. The plant is also within reach of Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Dauphin, New Cumberland, Hershey, Carlisle, and Middletown, York and Lancaster.
We have customers who are homeowners or farmers wanting to resurface their driveway, but we also cater for the Penn DOT approved market with 2A aggregate material sold to construction contractors.
Our Crushed Rock material is a graded steel slag aggregate. With the exception of Specially Treated Cured Steel Slag Sub Base, Steel Slag is not recommended for use in contained applications, such as under concrete or asphalt. Steel Slag Aggregate is never recommended for use under footings, foundations or building slabs. Steel Slag Aggregate is not recommended for use near natural bodies of water.
